End-of-tenancy clean

When you move, the home is cleaned after being emptied, ready for handover: kitchen and appliances, bathroom, inside the cupboards, skirting boards and window sills, and the inside of the windows. Renting? Your tenancy agreement states what the landlord expects — include that list in your request so the professional can price it.

An end-of-tenancy clean costs € 150 to € 400. The price depends on the size of the home, whether it is empty (empty works faster) and how much limescale, grease and adhesive residue has been left behind.

Schedule the clean as late as possible in the moving plan: after the last box is out and before the keys change hands. If the window between the two is tight, say so — with this job the scheduling often matters more than the price.
